That's really great, 75% of the route done, and you can start counting downwards towards the finish.

YEAH!!! Keep going Terry, I am so proud of you, you are so close now, YOU CAN DO THIS!! Just think of the finish, a cool shower, cold drinks, a massage, and most of all NO MORE RUNNING!! Strong on the inside, Strong on the outside a wise woman once told me....I love ya, Steffalo

You ARE on the home stretch. Way to go, girl!
You've done the HOT part, and you've done the HARD part. The dry lake bed seems to go on forever, but there's nothing hard about it, except the bigness. Soon you'll be in Lone Pine, and then your excitement will carry you up the Portal road.
Nothing can stop you now. You're going to make it!

Way to go Terry! you are on the home stretch, just keep moving, each step gets you closer to your goal, by the way Jim and Jill Plumb say Hi, and are amazed by you, stay cool think snow, and my thoughts and prayers are with you, Wind beneath your wings

Sisters are there, no matter how much time and how
many miles are
between you. A girl friend is never farther away
than needing her can reach.

When you have to walk that lonesome valley and you
have to walk it by yourself, the women in your life
will be on the valley's rim, cheering you on,
praying for you, pulling for you, intervening on
your behalf, and waiting with open arms at the
valley's end.

Sometimes, they will even break the rules and walk
beside you...Or come in and carry you out. The "SISTAS" are with you Terry
love ya Deanna (just in case you didn't get this already sorry if you did)

Hey Terry........You're almost there! Remember that night you met me at the Starbuck's at Liberty Lake after I got off work? I was in BAD shape, shaking and crying and you pulled me through. Remember?? You have done that for me so many times. I wish that right now, I could be there to pull you through and return the favor. But with your strength and will power, you don't need me at all! It's like that scene in The Wizard of Oz, when the good witch tells Dorothy that she had the power all along, inside, she just didn't know it. YOU'VE GOT THE POWER. Love ya, Jack. P.S. I WANT THAT TIRE....I WANT TO GROW FLOWERS INSIDE OF IT. (Or maybe you could auction it off on Ebay!!) Lova ya!

Terry,
You're doing it! I talked to Lisa a few hours ago and you were at about 110 miles. Sounds like you're holding strong. You're such an inspiration to so many people. You've probably started into the final uphill battle. Stay strong and stay focused. You're home free now. You've got this thing whooped! That blasted sun will be gone soon. Best wishes for a safe finish!
Love, Karen M.

Terry,

Mt. Whitney awaits with open arms. Your're almost there, don't stop, I know you will do it. I was in Eugene today, and thought of Steve Prefontaine and how he lead in his races, never looking back....you are a step above, in the realm of giants. Love you, Chris

Terry,
Do you know what Emri just asked me?
What is the highest point in the united states, and what is the lowest point in the united states, and they are only 60 miles apart?
Death Valley and Mt Whitney!
She thought she would share that piece of tid bit with you.
She thinks you are amazing, and so do I.
Love, Kari

I don't even like 75 degree's much. I did live where it was 100-130 every summer day and couldn't breath let alone run. Sending you prayers and good thoughts. I'm so ok with me if you either change they way you were going to do stuff, or just plain out prove one of my dreams wrong. I'm sending you prayers that you remain safe and sane. I'd send you some cool air, but it is me, and that just wouldn't happen.
Hi georje- hope you are doing ok also-and everyone else.
Love ya heat-aka ben

I think you past incredible about 15 miles ago! Awesome just doesn't seem to cut it. Maybe a new adjective has been created to describe an incredible feat of will. The adjective is Terry! Keep going, at least my prayers can run along side of you.
